![]() In Seattle Tacoma Airport SEATAC I picked up my vehicle 11:30 at night last july. After bringing back the car close to the exit the driver handed over my key. Although it was dark I quickly went around looking for dings and dents. I was satisfied, found nothing, picked up the rest of the family and laggages at the airport then we drove home. The next day i reinspected the van and found gouging scratches at the front driver side bottom bumper. I quickly called Extra Car but i was told to call back again because the guy (Michael) who handles the claim was not in. I got a hold of him the next day and that begun the so called "following it up". After three weeks i finally got to talked to the owner and he said he will get back to me. Although he did but he said ""Unfortunately we are unable to cover the damage to what you think might have happen in our parking lot. Primarily because it was not reported till after you left the lot. So we have no way really implying if it happen sometime after you left the lot or perhaps it was even there when you drove on the lot or aware of it. We apologized but we are unable to provide any compensation."" Well those are new scratches and it did happened in the lot that is why i am doing this. I know the vans condition when it came in and certainly there are no gouging scratches as you see in the pictures. I picked up the van 11:30 at night it was dark and the parking lot does not have much lighting. I have found a somewhat similar complaint on the net and Im sure there are many more unreported.
